When I first heard about Twilight, it didn't really strike me as something that was at all great. My sister brought the book one day, saying that all her friends read it. I basically didn't notice the book... for awhile. On my first day back at school I noticed that all my friends from the previous year were reading it. This started to strike my curiousity; was this a really great story, or a phase? So, when it was a pupil free day, I picked up the book and started to read. Almost instantly, I became close to Bella. Her addiction to Edward reminded me of my crush, and the whole concept of him being scared of her fancinated me. Pretty soon, I was staring at the backcover, mentally begging for more! Stephenie opened my heart, and I began to see things differently. The Twilight Saga isin't a phase. No words really can describe it. My love for fantasy mixed in with a romance was so... amazing. By the time I had finished New Moon, I fell in love with Embry. He was basically my character; shy but talented. Twilight led me to see why my friends loved it. It wasn't just a book. It was a different world.
