There's a quiet elegance about this-snow is so peaceful and pretty after its been shoveled to the side and piled high!!

So glad you got a chance to see some of the historical places during your stop in DC. The driveway to the West Wing of the White House. The large building to the background is the Old Executive Office Building. It was used as a hospital during the Civil War and horses were stabled in the basement.
