Is online learning effective?

Many people nowadays study online, and I'm curious to know if online learning is effective or finding an offline tutor would be a better solution?

It really all comes down to personal preference. On the contrary, I’m not very comfortable studying online with a tutor, and if we’re talking about online learning, I’ll choose a platform or app like promova.com. Now there are many cool platforms to learn English and more, while combining it with work and other everyday activities, not taking off onto the road.
