What is a patent for and what is the use of it?

Thanks to the patent, during the entire period of validity of the security document, the patent holder will be able to exclude all possibilities of using the protected method, composition, device/system or appearance (depending on which intellectual property object the patent was obtained for) by anyone other than the copyright holder without acquiring a license. A patent, depending on the object of intellectual property, is issued for a period of 10 to 25 years, and at the end of these terms, the patent expires, the object passes into the public domain, and any person can use the patented object without any restrictions.
