Using the Instagram app 

• Open the Instagram app
• Click on your profile
• Select  the Reel you want to download
• Click on the three dots icon in the bottom right corner
• Click on the Download
• Instagram will display a confirmation message
• After downloading videos go to your gallery section and find that video.

When using an extension or tool for downloading Instagram video

Find a video downloader application in the Play Store

• download the app
• Find the Reel you want to download
• Tap the share icon
• Select Copy link
• Paste the link into the downloader app
• Select Save or Download
